Free Weights:

Terrific for those on the go or those wanting to be able to train anywhere, anytime with out being reliant on equipment

 

Kettlebells: 

Matt Jones is Adelaide’s leading Kettlebell instructor and can help create an entire Kettlebell program or simply help you optimize your technique in certain Kettlebell lifts that may be giving you trouble

 

Clubbells, Circular Strength Training (CST), Body-Flow: 

Matt is one of only two Australian’s certified in Clubbells and Circular Strength Training (CST). CST is holistic system which includes programs for joint health, strength, endurance, agility, body awareness and weight loss.

The joint health programs and concepts of CST are arguably the original (and leading) joint health/mobility programs in existence. Don’t get second hand advice, learn from someone who has been internationally trained in the leading joint health/mobility programs of CST

 

Sandbags and Medicine Balls: 

Sandbags and medicine balls are excellent tools for fun and very effective workouts. They are particularly helpful for athletes and those wanting to develop power and speed

 

Pilates: 

More than just a trendy form of exercise for Hollywood stars, Pilates really does have its place in every exercise program. It’s great for improving alignment and control of one’s spine, can be a terrific tool for improving posture and is also great for stress relief. Don’t be mislead though, Pilates can not lengthen your muscles (no form of exercise can) as some unscrupulous trainers would lead you to believe.

 

Back Care: This is more than just Pilates; if you come to us for back care (whether it be to attend one of our short courses or to have private consultation) you can be assured that Matt will draw on everything he knows to give you the best treatment possible. Pilates, safe lifting, stretching (and even massage therapy if you so choose) can be incorporated into your sessions to ensure a truly holistic approach to improving the health of your back. These are the methods Matt developed to rehabilitate himself from a broken neck, numerous herniated discs and other soft tissue injuries of the spine. Matt’s methods are so effective that he has been hired by Physiotherapists, Yoga instructors and other health & fitness professionals to improve the back health of their patients, clients and even themselves.
